‘Asphalt Get-a-way’ is an expression of how we experience the cooler months in New York City as well as the outlying Adirondack wooded areas.
This collection is about ‘texture’. Our prints are as textural visually as our fabrics are in a tactile sense.
This seasons prints represent the textures of fall. There are cold & wet textures that emulate a late night in the city streets. Wet asphalt reflecting colorful lights, the ashy salty tire tread of a snow plow waiting for the call. Streets of slush and snowball impacts, this is the ‘Asphalt’ group. The ‘Get-a-way’ prints are cozy and nature inspired. They transport us into daylight, into nature and into the countryside. They carry the excitement of getting out of town and changing our environment.
Our styling for FW2016 is ‘Structured’.
Our body conscious and confident look utilizes an arm-knitted ‘Super cowl neck’ vest of extra thick wool yarn that is inspired by the spirit of the gladiator. There are link bound brindle cowhide jackets fastened together like armor, there are also textured and metallic leather skirts and a Mongolian lamb pieces added for a touch of cozy luxe.
